WA Premier announced that from 5 Feb 2022, double dose vaccinated international arrivals will not be required to quarantine and are not subject to the arrival caps, however they will be required a negative PCR test result within 72 hours prior to departure, within 48 hours of arrival to WA and on day six. Unvaccinated international arrivals will be required to quarantine for 14 days in a designated hotel or the quarantine facility. In addition, masks are required to be worn in some high risk indoor settings from 5 Feb 2022. For further information, please visit the WA Gov website.

From 20 Dec 2021, fully vacinated travellers from anywhere in Australia or overseas can enter the NT (Northan Territory) without quarantine.

From today, Singaporean citizens who are considered fully vaccinated will be able to travel to Australia without seeking a travel exemption and quarantine-free to NSW, Victoria and the ACT. Victoria already welcomed international students from Singapore today. NSW is expected to have returning of international students to touch down on December 6. WA is still waiting for their vaccination rates to be 90% or over, which is expected to happen in Jan/Feb 2022.

Currently, as a measure against the COVID-19, the Australian government has banned entry from abroad (except Australian citizens, residents and immediate family members) since 21:00 on Friday, 20 March 2020 (Eastern Australia Daylight Saving Time). Therefore, all applications for study in Australia are on hold until further notice.
