To make an application, all you need is to follow the 5 easy steps below.
Step 1 Decide courses & institutions
Top-notch can:
- help you find your desired course(s) and institution(s)
- check the course availability
- provide you with the course information, including the entry requirements, available pathways and cost
- give you a quote on all the cost including tuition fees, insurance, visa fees and related costs
- inform you what kind of documents you need to submit
- answer to all of your questions related to education and/or living in Australia
- contact institution(s) to clarify the information if needed
- give information on a student visa
You:
- can ask any questions about your study and pathways for Australia
- need to decide on a course and an institution
- need to submit all the required documents to Top-notch
Step 2 Make applications
Top-notch will:
- send you an application form to fill in
- make an application for an education institution(s) on your behalf
- inform you if we need any additional documents or information from you
- follow up your application status with the institution(s)
- let you know the outcome of the application
- forward you a letter of offer (or conditional offer) and invoice from the institution if you receive a successful outcome
You:
- need to fill in the application form
- may need to pay for an application fee depending on the institution you apply for
Step 3 Make payments
You:
- need to pay for the tuition fees and any other related fees (such as registration fees, material/textbook fees and OSHC insurance fees) to Top-notch to secure a place for your chosen course (You can also make a direct payment to the institutions if you prefer)
- need to sign the acceptance/agreement form
Top-notch will:
- forward the fees and signed forms to the institution(s)
- obtain your CoE (confirmation of enrollment) for your student visa application from the institution once the payments have been sent
Step 4 Apply for a visa
Top-notch can:
- help you prepare a visa application (clerical work only)
- provide translation or interpreting services for an application and/or other documents (on a fee basis if needed)
- give you information on visas which publically available from the official immigration website
- make a booking for a health check within Australia (or provide you with contact details for your visa medical check if outside of Australia)
You:
- need to apply for an Australian visa (student visa, working holiday visa or tourist visa)
- may need to take a medical check depending on the visa you apply for
Visa type | Study duration |
Student visa | In general, if you are planning to study for more than 3 months, you need to apply for a student visa. You may need to take a health check depending on your nationality. You may also be asked to take an English test. |
Working holiday visa | You can study up to 4 months (17 weeks) with the working holiday visa. If you want to study longer than that, you will need to apply for a student visa. |
Tourist visa | You can study up to 3 months with the tourist/visitor visa. If you want to study longer than that, you will need to apply for a student visa. |
Step 5 Prepare for your travel
Once you get a visa,
You can:
- book for an air-ticket to Australia
- prepare your luggage
- ask any questions to Top-notch in relation to your departure, study and/or living in general
